Deion
1. Works in a variety of finance roles, during a two-year developmental program. Based on assigned , responsibilities will vary, including the preparation of analyses, forecasts and reports, support of the annual budget process, and the reconciliation and adjustment of general ledger accounts.
2. Works with assigned organizational units to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and statistical reporting.
3. Prepares financial reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
4. Executes special projects as assigned.
5. Makes accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries.
6. Assists with monthly and annual account reconciliations and close activities.
7. Examines a variety of financial statements and transactions for completeness, internal accuracy, and conformance with accounting standards.
8. Learns the Cummins finance approach through contributions to a variety of projects and activities.
9. Participates in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
10. Presents key learnings and rotation experiences to Finance Development Program panel of finance leadership.
11. Continues work toward applicable certification, as needed.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
12. College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subject required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
